Installation of the Windows

To install windows XP insult window XP installation CD-ROM in the CD drive and power on/restart system. System will show PC-BIOS start up message like memory test, memory installed etc. press F2 to enter setup.

When get the message press any key to boot from CD press a key.

After a brief delay the typical Microsoft blue installation screen is displayed with window setup display at the top and at the bottom of the screen information, setup is loading files.

Setup is starting window and will display after a short delay the window XP professional setup or window XP home setup screen.

Select the type of disk formatting FAT or NTFS.

NTFS (New Technology File System)

Able to use file system security feature.

FAT (File Allocation Table)

With the help of the FAT, we can boot window soon but it has no security feature.

After choosing and select it by pressing Enter.

Press Enter key here to shorten the delay is restarting.

After restart, window XP will start the first time with the GUI.

The setup will continue to copy file and install devices.

We can adjust regional setting using the custom option.

Personalize system by entering name and organization.
