What is Transmission Media?

Media is the general term use to describe the data path that forms a physical channel between senders and receiver. Media can be twisted pair wire such as that used for telephone installed.

Media differ in the capability to support high data ray and long distance transmission the reason for this are:

1) Noise absorption

2) Radiation

3) Attenuation

4) Band width
